World’s First! Tesla Launches Off-Grid “Oasis” Supercharging Station

Featuring 168 Superchargers with Full Off-Grid Power Supply

On July 4 (local time), Tesla inaugurated the world’s first fully off-grid “Oasis” Supercharging station in Lost Hills, California. The station deploys 168 V4 Superchargers with a maximum output of 325 kW (84 currently operational; remainder to launch within 2025).

Powered by an 11 MW solar array spanning 30 acres, the station integrates 10 Megapack units providing 39 MWh of energy storage, enabling complete off-grid operation. This project realizes Tesla’s decade-old vision of “solar-powered charging with integrated storage.”
